IBM's latest report illustrates the evolving cyber threat landscape and the costs for organizations affected by cyber-attacks. In fact, it is no longer a matter of wondering whether a cyber attack will occur but rather when it will occur.
The report highlights how costs are growing in general in all sectors, even if the highest costs are recorded in the healthcare sector, while globally, the country with the highest average cost per violation is the United States with 9, $44 million, compared to $4.35 million which is the average cost of a breach worldwide.
